After the literal run-in with Leehan, all the lost memories of that night came flooding back in a fierce rush, leaving me shaken to the core. The added stress of the conversation with Sungho made everything worse.
When Leehan sees me, he pauses and simply stands there. It’s as if he’s waiting for something.
When I don’t say anything, he nods at me. “You’re Taesan’s friend, right? Do you remember me?”
I nod back. “Yeah, from the party. Are you like Taesan’s boyfriend?” I stammer out hesitantly.
“Yeah,” he says, looking down for a second before looking back at me. “Since summer.”
I’m completely taken aback by the admission.

Taesan’s been keeping this a secret since summer.

“Don’t be mad at him for not telling you guys,” he says. “He has his reasons. Anyway, I’m Leehan.”
He extends his hand out to me, and I shake it. “Euijoo,” I reply.
“Well, he’s waiting for me, so I gotta go.” He turns and waves, heading down the hallway in the opposite direction.
This whole day is turning into a weird mind fuck. My feet start moving on their own, and I find myself in front of my locker. Whipping it open, I grab my bag and my keys and head to the parking lot.
I need to get the hell out of here. There’s no way I’ll be able to make it through the rest of the day in this state.
I don’t know where I’m going, but I get in my car and just drive.
After thirty minutes of aimless driving, I pull into a convenience store parking lot. After buying an energy drink, I get back in my car and end up texting my sister’s friend.
