It has gotten colder in the room these days. I snuggle into Nico, trying to get warmer. How can he still not sleep with a shirt on when it’s this cold now?

“Nichol,” I say into his neck.

“Hm,” he says, wrapping his arms tighter around me. “What’s wrong, Juju?”

“I have to get up now, and I don’t want to.”

“Then stay next to me. I’ll keep you nice and warm.”

He kisses the top of my head, making it that much harder to want to leave his arms.

“I promised my mom I would help her prepare for the family dinner tonight.” I tilt my head and plant a kiss on his lips. “If I don’t get downstairs soon, she’s going to drag me out of bed anyway. You being here is no excuse, and you know it. You're always here.”

“Fine, point taken.”

“We can make up for this later tonight," I say, grabbing his ass and pushing our hips together.

"Joo, please don’t do that to me so early in the morning," he grumbles.

I laugh, enjoying how cute my boyfriend looks in the morning with his disheveled hair and sleepy eyes.

I kiss him one last time and slide out of bed. Grabbing some fresh clothes, I head to the bathroom to take a shower.

I get out of the shower and wrap a towel around my waist, getting ready to brush my teeth when I hear some noises coming from my room.

I assume it’s either my mom or dad coming to check if I’m awake, but when I open the door, I witness my sister body-slamming herself onto the bed. She must have just arrived back from college. She wraps herself around the bundle asleep on the bed and continues to try to tickle Nico through the blanket. “Mom told me to come get you out of bed.”

Nico squirms underneath her, and I don’t know how he’s keeping his squeals in.

“Jiwon,” I say, still standing, completely alarmed by what I’m seeing. “What the hell are you doing?”

My sister freezes, stopping her assault on Nico, and looks at me, her eyebrows scrunching up confusedly, and then looks back at the bundle on the bed hidden under the blankets.

She smirks like she just figured something out and has something on me.
